What are notification settings?
Notification settings let you control how and where you hear about new leads and job updates. Getting this right means you're never missing important opportunities, but you're also not being bombarded across multiple channels at once - something that can quickly become noise if you're on the tools all day.
Where to find your settings
From your homepage, click through to 'Notifications' to manage your notification settings.
What can I control?
-
📧 Leads via Email - When a new lead matching your filters comes in, we will notify you by email. This is handy if you check your inbox regularly. Alternatively, if you have the app installed and prefer to get app (push) notifications instead, you can toggle email notifications off.
-
📧 Job Events via Email - Get notified via email for updates to your active jobs, e.g. when you get granted contact, or get hired. You can switch this off if you'd prefer all your notifications to come through the app rather than your email inbox (you must have one enabled).
-
📲 Leads via Push - Push notifications are the fastest way to hear about new leads, and being first to respond significantly improves your chances of getting connected. Keep this on if you want real-time alerts on your phone the moment a matching lead comes in.
- 📲 Job Events via Push - Stay on top of activity on your active jobs, such as messages, status updates, and customer messages. If you're managing multiple jobs at once, these notifications help you stay responsive without having to constantly check the website manually.
Tip: Check you have downloaded the latest version of our app, to be able to access these new notification settings.
Any tips on how to set these up?
It depends on how you work. If you're frequently away from your phone during the day, keeping email notifications on ensures you don't miss leads while you're on a job. If the app is your go-to and you want to cut down on inbox clutter, you can confidently turn email notifications off and rely on push alone. The key is making sure at least one channel is active for leads - you don't want a great opportunity slipping by unnoticed.
