You can communicate with tradespeople chasing your job using the messaging feature on Builderscrack. Messaging through Builderscrack creates a digital record of what’s been agreed and discussed on a job, ensuring everyone’s expectations are aligned.
To message your tradesperson:
- Log in to Builderscrack and click on ‘My jobs’
- Select the relevant job
- Click the ‘Interact’ button beside the tradesperson you want to speak with
- You can then send them a message or find their phone number to call.
Has your tradesperson disconnected?
Sometimes tradespeople will disconnect themselves from a job – this happens for many reasons; they may have a full schedule or they may have discussed the job with you and don't want to pursue it further.
If they’ve dropped your job, they will be moved under the 'Not Connected' section, and it will say ‘Dropped’ next to their name.
If you need to get in touch again with a disconnected tradesperson:
- Click the little arrow next to 'Not Connected' to expand the list of tradies who are disconnected.
- Click the 'View profile' button next to the business name.
- On the next page, click the 'Reconnect' button at the top.
