(If this isn't you, check out our Tradespeople FAQs)
One of the cornerstones of Builderscrack is the authenticity of reviews and the visibility of these for other homeowners. Remember that reviews have a real impact on a tradesperson's business, so they must be fair and factual.
If you’re unhappy with any aspect of a job, your first step should be to raise your concerns with the tradesperson. If after working through options for resolution, the outcome is still unsatisfactory, you are entitled to leave a review to reflect your experience.
Your honest review will help other homeowners assess a tradesperson and decide whether they are the right person for their next project.
Even when a tradesperson does receive a bad review, we have found that it is how they deal with the review which determines the effect on their ability to secure future work. A bad review can be turned into an opportunity for a tradesperson to demonstrate how they manage tricky situations.
Reviews can be edited later, so if issues are resolved, please remember to go back and update your review.
